ABOUT MY ONLINE ALIAS
The day I first called myself Nina Usagi as my alias (with the space): November 7, 2004.
Reason why I called myself Nina Usagi: got tired of using my fan/OC characters as my persona. So I named myself based on my first real name, Nina, and what-I-thought my zodiac, Usagi, means bunny in Japanese - I liked Japanese stuff back then, but not anymore since around 2007. I found out I was born in the year of a tiger (2 days away from being a rabbit).
The year I took out the space in my alias: Around 2006. Even though I was a deviant since August 4, 2005 without the space in my username (deviantART doesn't allow spaces), I was still rocking with the space over at SheezyART.
Reason why I took out the space in my alias: Looks better without the space.
The day I changed my alias pronunciation: November 7, 2014.
How to pronounce my alias: Nina United States (of) America Government Issue (Joe). The "U", "s", "a", "g", "i" letters are abbreviations. The word "of", "Joe" and all five periods are invincible. If my alias is too long for you to say it out, just call me Nina, even though I hated it; my parents named me that and it was like a gift to me, so I have to respect it.
Reason to change my alias pronunciation: like I said, I no longer like Japanese stuff. I want my alias to sound more American.
How to spell my alias: NinaUsagi. No space. The first "N" and "U" are upper case while the rest are lower case.
Reason not to change my alias spelling: all my contents were credited as NinaUsagi, and I am not going through all the hassles changing it. I know I don't have to if I did change the spelling of my alias, but I still cares about it to avoid confusions.
ABOUT MY DRAWINGS
Originally, I wanted to become a professional artist that draws realistic or high quality stuff. But now, I don't care anymore, because I no longer find fine-arts interesting. Sometime, I enjoy looking at others' fine-arts, but just not from myself. So I decided to go back to what I love drawing the most: cartoons and comedy, with proportion a little bit off to catch that "style" of mine.
ABOUT MY ANIMATIONS
I love Flash animations. I did some animations back in the day, but not as much as I did with my drawings. Cartoon animation is now my life, so I want to focus more on that.
